The assignment is aimed at assessing the capacity of the OAG and Parliamentary committees to deliver key responsibilities and provide actionable recommendations to enhance their ability to effectively deliver their respective mandates as envisioned in law. The assessment provides recommendations for priority technical assistance areas for the coming three to four years, which can be supported by development partners. The key tasks included functional and business processes review, review of strategic and operational plans, capacity gap assessment and recommendations for capacity development as well as development of action plans and budgets for implementation.
Stakeholder management and capacity building services for investment attraction in municipalities under Sustainable Urban Economic Development (SUED) - Isiolo, Kitui and Malindi Municipalities
Virtual Group is subcontracted by Open Capital Associates (OCA) under the Sustainable Urban Economic Development (SUED). SUED is funded by FCDO and managed by Tetra Tech International. The stakeholder management role supports SUED in managing key stakeholders in the process of profiling and mobilizing investments in priority value chains and infrastructure projects. Key tasks include stakeholder mapping, relationship management, sensitization, consultations, institutional assessment, capacity building and workshop facilitation. The purpose is to empower stakeholders to effectively participate in investment attraction process through feasibility studies, transaction due diligence, transaction support and investment promotion.The key tasks included functional and business processes review, review of strategic and operational plans, capacity gap assessment and recommendations for capacity development as well as development of action plans and budgets for implementation.
